Join Greening Greenpoint for a guided walk through Greenpoint’s history with a special focus on the former Bushwick Creek
The walk will be led by Greenpoint historian Geoffrey Cobb, author of “Greenpoint Brooklyn’s Forgotten Past” and “The King of Greenpoint”.
Geoffrey will discuss the impact of Bushwick Creek on Greenpoint’s early development and point out its lasting impacts on the landscape.
We’ll meet at the northwest corner of Franklin St. and Calyer St. and end at the Parks Department building at 86 Kent Avenue with a short visual presentation and refreshments.
One lucky participant of each walk will take home a copy of "Greenpoint Brooklyn's Forgotten Past"!
